Refund &
Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
This policy explains how cancellation, the right of withdrawal and refunds work for the digital services offered by InvitationLine.
Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, implemented in Romania by Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014), consumers generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason.
InvitationLine provides digital content and online services that start immediately after payment, at your express prior request.
Under the law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- services that have been fully performed, if performance began with your express prior consent;
- digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, if performance began with your express prior consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal.
By placing an order and having the service activated immediately, you expressly consent to performance starting right away and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been activated.
If you bought a photo album package and the album has not been used (no photos or videos have been added), you can request a full refund within 14 days of payment.
You can cancel an order at any time before completing the payment, at no cost. If the payment has not been confirmed, the order has no effect.
Even where the law does not require it, we look favourably at any justified refund request — for example if the service could not be delivered because of a technical problem on our side, or if you were charged twice. Please contact us with your order details.

Approved refunds are made to the same payment method used for the order (through Stripe), within a maximum of 14 days of approval, at no extra cost to you. Depending on your bank, it may take a few more business days for the amount to appear on your statement.
If we cannot reach an agreement, EU consumers may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body — for example the Romanian ANPC (SAL): https://reclamatiisal.anpc.ro.
